Why, yes I'm a socialist stamp by LouaWolf Why, yes I'm a socialist stamp by LouaWolf
Yes, it's true. The world is going to collapse, OMG!
I decided to do this after some conversations in my family of trying not to tell people that we are socialists when we get to the USA, because we perfectly know that socialism is mostly frowned upon there. So, If I preferably don't express my political view there, I will express it here, in dA, as a good ol' stamp.
Well, pretty much socialism ensures that, unlike communism, you can make money out of your business's profits, but, unlike capitalism, it ensures that other workers in your business also get a part of that profit to cover their personal necessities.
Let's put France as an example. France is a socialist country, and guess what, they have one of the best healthcare systems in the world. People there have free healthcare, free college tuition and there is less poverty and crime. Also, people don't get too rich or horribly poor, because the government regulates incomes and offers social benefits. So, France is a great example of a socialist government. With socialism, there is no "rich" or "poor", everybody has an amount that can aboard their personal necessities, and at the same time let people have their own business (in large businesses of course that the profit is then managed and regulated so that the CEO doesn't abuse of it)
I am also a socialist because I live in a democratic country, where this is the predominant political view (unfortunately, there are also certain capitalist politicians) Of course that it has it's own imperfections, but at least it keeps people from falling into misery.

Also, I am not a Nazi or something like that. Nazi's had a very different way of working, instead of offering benefits to everyone, they only gave certain benefits to themselves. BIG difference. And last but not least, socialism and communism are way different from each other, they are NOT the same thing. And no I don't support Chavez either.

I know that this is very controversial, and that socialism is not well seen by many Americans (money has lots o' power over people) but this is MY stamp, and therefore MY opinion.
If you do not support this, you can always simply ignore it and go comment in another stamp, however, if you leave a nice, mature comment expressing your opinion, I will respect it and your comment will not be hidden. Flaming/trolling comments will be answered with a :icontrollfaceplz: and ignored. If I find it very offensive to my personal beliefs, your comment may get hidden and you blocked.
If too many people start flaming and trolling, or an unfriendly discussion begins, I will simply disable comments to avoid a further problem. If then, people start flaming against this in my profile page, I will simply block you. No second chances.
I hope you understood.

One last thing: This may sound offensive, but I think that when people say that the USA is a free country, they are talking about capitalism (business CEO's can do whatever the hell comes into their minds)

You obviously know nothing of freedom.
As a american I don't care what you want to do or believe just do not try pushing your crap onto others, this is not a socialist country if you don't like that GTFO. You many not change our constitution or our ways.

Actually it's quite offense to any FREE citizen of the USA, you are entitled to your beliefs but know this, so am I and so is every other American citizen, be grateful we allow you to belief as you wish it's not something afforded others in other countrys.

As well thought out as this stamp is, There are certain flaws in the text. First off America and France are not comparable. The socialistic laws in France is based off the culture, size and Visions of the French government. Considering France is about the size of texas, they have what laws they need in smaller less violent country. Most of Europe's countries are smaller scaled  so it's not comparable to America. Once again considering America's size we can not have a loose government as the Socialist ideas are compacted, We need a stable and thickly composed government, France also has an idea that everyone is equal around what Communism is loosely based off of. The communistic Government can work as well as the Socialist government can work. But you must incorporate everything about the country, Such as size, placement, culture and Politics.

pfft, my dad wears a socialist t-shirt everyday to work and no one cares. And we live in Florida. It's not THAT bad. It's not like it used to be. I think the US is changing...very slowly, mind you. Let's just hope it goes in the right direction; or, in this case, the left direction.

In America it seems to me that the left-wing are the ones who are sensible. In Britain it's the right-wing who have social and economic grasp.
Lucky for the French their free healthcare worked out alright. Because of our NHS, Britain is now the Tuberculosis capital of Europe from health tourists, and the fault doesn't lie with capitalism.
